Errors and what they mean

404: file missing or wrong path. The file name must equal the key: KEY.txt.
Content differs: the file holds something other than the key (BOM, whitespace, HTML). Only the key, optionally one trailing newline.
Redirect: a www or http redirect; engines usually follow it, but give the final URL as keyLocation.
Wrong content type: should be text/plain; text/html is usually a 404 page in disguise.
