Redirect chain check
Chain
| # | URL | Status | Location | ms | Server |
|---|
Variants
| Request | Status | Location |
|---|
How to read it
- 301 / 308: permanent; search engines move signals to the new address. 302 / 307: temporary; use 301 for permanent moves.
- 3+ hops: every hop adds latency and eats crawl budget; redirect straight to the final address.
- http → https: the http:// request should go to https:// in one hop. www: one of www / non-www should redirect to the other; two 200s mean duplicate content.
- Loop: the chain returns to itself; browsers show ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS.
