Page weight analyzer

Enter a URL; count scripts, styles, images and preloads, find render-blocking resources and measure the first 30 by size.

How to read it

  • The HTML is parsed: <script src>, <link rel=stylesheet>, <img src/srcset>, <link rel=preload> and inline script/style bytes. Resources loaded later by JS are not visible.
  • Render-blocking: scripts in <head> without defer/async/type=module and stylesheets without a media query (or all/screen). The browser does not paint until they arrive.
  • Measure: HEAD requests for the first 30 resources; when content-length is missing the body is counted (up to 1 MB). Sizes are the compressed bytes the server sends.
  • Rough targets: total under 1.5 MB, JS under 300 KB, hero image under 200 KB.
