seops vs Search Console alone
seops does not replace Search Console; it is built on it. Keep the property, keep the permissions. The question is only how you look at the data when you have more than one site and less than a full day.
| Google Search Console | seops | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free. | Free for one site; $2.50/mo per extra site. Search Console features are in every account. |
| Many sites | One property at a time; a property switcher. | All sites in one list with clicks, change and alerts; same checks on each. |
| Freshness | Daily data, ~2 days behind; hourly view exists for the last 24h / 8 days. | Hourly today and yesterday in your time zone (a Search Console day is a Pacific day), with the same 2–3 day publishing delay on daily totals. |
| Opportunities | You filter queries by position and CTR yourself. | Opportunity queries ready: position 4–20, high impressions, low CTR, with the page that gets them. |
| Index | Page indexing report and one-by-one URL inspection. | URL inspection results for sitemap pages, ordered by an importance score (sessions, clicks, links); IndexNow queue for Bing and Yandex. |
| Alerts | Email on coverage issues and some drops. | Traffic drop, index loss, stale backup and failing cron alerts in one place; weekly summary every Monday. |
| Context | Search only. | Next to GA4, Bing, Yandex, Cloudflare, AI visibility and tasks. |
| Security check | Not part of Search Console (only the Security Issues report for hacked content and malware). | External surface checks (HTTPS redirect, HSTS, CSP and other security headers, exposed .env/.git files, security.txt, SPF/DMARC, Cloudflare SSL mode and minimum TLS) once a day, plus a code audit your own AI agent runs with Cloudflare's open-source security-audit skill; findings, status and fix prompts in the panel. |
| Assistant access | API; you build the integration. | Remote MCP server with OAuth; 45 tools (34 read, 11 write). Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude Code. |
What it looks like in seops
From the live demo, with sample data. For Google Search Console screens see the vendor's site; we don't reproduce them here.
Pick Google Search Console if
- One site, and you open it every day anyway
- You only need the raw report
Pick seops if
- Several sites and no time to click through each
- You want the opportunity list, importance score and alerts without building them
- Your assistant should answer "what lost clicks this week?"
