Cookieless web analytics, no persistent ID
seops Analytics counts visits on your site with a 2.1 KB script (1.2 KB compressed) that sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and keeps no persistent identifier; the raw IP address is not stored. Visitors, sessions, pages, sources, countries, devices, events and a live view sit next to Search Console. If you already run GA4, keep it: seops reads GA4 too, and you choose which source the panel shows.
Honest limits: with no persistent identifier, seops Analytics cannot tell a returning visitor from a new one across days, and it has no ad attribution (no gclid matching, no Google Ads link). Ad blockers that block analytics hosts hide some visitors. If you need those, keep GA4; the panel reads both.

What you get
- No cookies, no localStorage, no fingerprint beyond a daily hash: the IP address is hashed with a salt that changes every day and is never stored
- Visitors, sessions, page views, time on page, sources and channels, countries and cities, devices, live visitors
- Extras: scroll depth, entry and exit pages, custom events and goals, browser and OS, UTM campaigns, bot share
- Traffic from AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) as its own channel, from either source
- Single-page apps counted on pushState; seops('signup', {plan: 'pro'}) for events; data-exclude for admin paths
- Same reports over MCP: get_analytics and get_realtime carry a source field
- 100,000 page views a month per site included
How it works
- Paste one script tag into your site's head (the setup wizard shows it with your key) and press Verify
- Or keep GA4: give the service account Viewer on the property and pick it from the list; both can run side by side
- Add the sentence from the privacy policy to your own privacy notice; the Data Processing Addendum applies from the first hit

Questions
Do I need a cookie banner for seops Analytics?
It sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and keeps no persistent identifier; the raw IP address is not stored. Whether your site needs a consent banner depends on the law that applies to you and on everything else your site runs; seops does not make that call for you. The Data Processing Addendum and a ready-made privacy sentence are on the legal pages.
Can I keep Google Analytics 4?
Yes. Both can run on the same site. In project settings you pick which source the panel shows; the GA4 reader keeps working as before, and the AI-assistant channel exists in both.
What happens to a visitor's IP address?
It is used in memory during the request to derive country and city and to compute a daily hash (SHA-256 of a daily salt, IP address, user agent and your site key), then discarded. Each day's salt is used only on that day (Turkey time, UTC+3) and deleted two days after the day ends; after that the hash cannot be recomputed. The raw IP is not written anywhere, not even to logs.
Will the numbers match GA4?
No, and they are not meant to. Different definitions, different bot filtering, no cookies and no sampling in the last 90 days mean the counts differ. Compare trends, not totals.
Where is the data stored and for how long?
On Cloudflare Analytics Engine. Raw hits expire after 90 days; daily summaries stay as long as the site exists in your account; everything is deleted within 30 days after you delete the site.
